IAFP 2024 Annual Meeting

ICMSF members plan to contribute to the programme of this annual meeting again. First organised in 1911, the annual symposium of what we know call IAFP has been a key event for this Association to advancing food safety worldwide by providing a forum for food safety professionals to exchange information on protecting the food supply.

2024 IAFP Latino Symposium

11 to 14 November 2024, Santos, Brasil

The Latin American Symposium on Food Safety (IAFP Latino) is organised every two years by scientific associations and societies from different Latin American countries affiliated with the IAFP. The ICMSF Latin American Subcommission (LAS) will be hosting a round table during the symposium.

The International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF, the Commission) was formed in 1962 through the action of the International Committee on Food Microbiology and Hygiene, a committee of the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS). Through the IUMS, the ICMSF is linked to the International Union of Biological Societies (IUBS) and to the World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations.
