> Current Projects Call for Reviewers The International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF) is completing its work on Microorganisms in Foods 8: Use of Data for Assessing Process Control and Product Acceptance. The purpose of the book is to provide recommendations on appropriate testing of ingredients, food processing environments, processing lines, and finished products to enhance the microbiological safety and quality of the food supply. The book is being written by ICMSF members, with assistance from expert consultants. While ICMSF has a diverse membership from government, industry, and academic sectors; developed and developing countries; and experience with a broad range of food products, the Commission is actively seeking individuals who are interested in reviewing chapters prior to publication of Book 8. Qualified reviewers should have expertise in the area that they wish to review. Chapters from Book 8 are listed below. If interested in serving as a reviewer, please provide an account of your qualifications and identify the chapters that you would like to volunteer to review. Send requests, to ICMSF Book 8 Editorial Committee Chair, Katherine MJ Swanson at katie.swanson@ecolab.com. The Commission cannot guarantee that you will be selected as a reviewer, as an attempt will be made to select reviewers with different perspectives. Reviewers will be acknowledged in Book 8.
