The ICMSF layperson's guide, "A Simplified Guide to Understanding and Using Food Safety Objectives and Performance Objectives," has been first issued in 2005 in the English language, and has since been translated into French, Portuguese, Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia. Links are provided below.

ICMSF is grateful for excellent illustrative work of Mr. Tatsuya Minamoto and the facilitation by ICMSF member Dr. Fumiko Kasuga that have resulted in a new version of the guide in an additional language - the language of cartoons.

Mr. Minamoto is HACCP Coordinator at the Machida Hygienic Control Laboratory in Tokyo, Japan, and is an illustrator specializing in the field of food hygiene. He can be reached at gen.0322@bloom.ocn.ne.jp.
